  • Lisa stars in THISTLES, a new play by Cyndy A. Marion, which premieres at the renowned Off-Broadway theatre, 59E59 on November 15. Tickets are available by clicking the THISTLES art to the left. The play will run through December 1.

  • Lisa was very proud to work with the National Black Theatre in a reading of Lewis Payton's latest play, LOST FRIENDS. Stand by for more news in November 2023.

  • Last month, Lisa filmed a touching and very funny film, CHOPIN with director, Vincent Lin. Click article at left to read about the film. 

  • Lisa recently shot a starring role in a new film, BLAME with Karen Lynn Gorney. Click trailer at left.

  • Wrapped a two-character indie short film made by award-winning filmmaker Laina Barakat entitled THE WAITING ROOM.

  • Lisa closed critically acclaimed productions of ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE, and A DOLL'S HOUSE, Part 2 in which she played Nora.

  • Independent film, SOMEWHERE IN JULY, winning awards in this year's festival circuit. Lisa stars as the mother of a transgender child.

  • Lisa starred in an award-winning production of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK at Playhouse on Park in Hartford.

  • Received wonderful notices ("The standout is Lisa Bostnar... (she) gives a monologue that would be worth the price of admission all its own." -Ledger-Transcript) for her performance in STEEL MAGNOLIAS.

 

  • Lisa had a smash run in Sharr White's ANNAPURNA with co-star Gus Kaikkonen.

 

  • Starred in Jackob Hofmann's new play, A PERSISTENT MEMORY at the Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row in NYC. The play was directed by Jessi D. Hill..

 

  • Lisa did a reading of Karen Sunde's play TO MOSCOW at the Players Club in NYC with Gordon Clapp, Ann-Marie-Cusson, Katherine Romans, Garly Sloan and Elise Stone. Directed by Bob Lawson.
